Work tops

Select the thickest worktop you can afford. The most common thicknesses are 30mm and 40mm, with 40mm laminate worktops tending to have greater resistance to heat and damage than their 30mm counterparts. Timber or natural material worktops of this thickness are less prone to cracking or warping.
